I have been trying to come up with a way to display my son’s artwork that he is starting to accrue from school each week. He is always so proud of it and I personally think he’s a regular Pablo Picasso, so I decided I must find a way to exhibit his masterpieces. Could I find something inexpensive, easy to make and functional?

I am NOT a morning person. Not even a little bit. I think it’s cruel and unusual punishment that anyone need wake up before 10 am. But, I’m a mom and my children don’t exactly share my circadian rhythms. Nor does my husbands place of employment, he needs to be out the door by 7:30 for his job, so like it or not I must be up by that time as well. Let me just say, I am well aware that many people get up way earlier than this, so I really shouldn’t be complaining…but I’m just trying to be honest and I honestly loathe getting up at 7:30. The above quote is what I heard my son excitedly exclaim as I was driving him home from Montessori school today. I had just picked him up and we had stopped at our favorite coffee place to get him a “not-so-hot chocolate with LOTSO whip cream,” because I’ve turned him into a warm beverage addict just like myself. As I was driving along sipping my chai tea latte and listening to face-palm worthy news on NPR, I hear him pipe up from the backseat, “Woah! Mom!
